Denmark Education Assessment is essential to check your eligibility for Denmark Green Card or to enter a Danish study programme. It is a tool or method of obtaining information from tests or other sources about the achievement or abilities of individuals. Often used interchangeably with test. The assessment is done by Danish Agency for Universities and Internationalisation (DAUI).

DAUI makes an assessment of the level of completed foreign educational programme compared with levels in the Danish educational structure on submission of complete educational documents.

Assessment Time

Minimum 1-2 months is required for assessment. Time may vary from case to case.

Requirements:

  • Educational Certificates:
    1. The diploma(s)/certificate(s) that you want to have assessed
    2. If you have more than one higher education qualification (e.g. a bachelor's degree and a master's degree), please enclose all of the documents.
    3. Only enclosed primary and lower secondary certificates in case the qualification you want to have assessed is a primary, lower secondary, vocational or general upper secondary qualification.
    4. Transcript(s). If you are unable to provide the transcript, please list in your own words the subjects studied and passed.
    5. Translation(s) of the diploma(s)/certificate(s) mentioned if they are not in Norwegian, Swedish, English, German, French or Spanish.
    6. Translation of transcript(s) if they are not in in Norwegian, Swedish, English, German, French or Spanish.
    7. If you have a Diploma Supplement, please enclose it.
  • Entrance qualification:
    1. Upper secondary qualification (e.g. high school certificate) if you want assessment of a higher education qualification.
    2. Primary/lower secondary qualification if you want assessment of a vocational or general upper secondary qualification.
  • If the name on any of the documents is different from the name you are currently using: Name change documentation, e.g. marriage certificate.
  • If your qualifications have been assessed before: Former assessment(s) or recognition decision(s).
  • The Danish Agency for Higher Education may ask you for further documentation of your qualifications, including original documents.
  • Mark sheet or a similar list which has all the studied subjects mentioned
